By serving on mission during college, students see the global church and how to be a part of it. They experience the need for our dependence on God, and I can’t think of something more important or critical to learn while in college.

Nehemiah Teams is one of the ways that the International Mission Board allows college students to engage in hands on missions. You can go and work along side missionaries an experience the culture and help those missionaries reach their people groups int that area.
“
Being in Memphis working with Muslim refugees really showed me the importance of the reaching the unreached peoples here in the United States. You don’t have to go over seas to share the gospel, but you can just go next door.
“
I didn’t feel qualified to do this…. but God gave me every opportunity. He gave me the words to say. He reminded me of the stories to tell and how to tell the stories. This allowed me to love on them and they could see Christ through me!
